Pope Leo figurine it’s a truly unusual keepsake for all admirers of our beloved PAPA LEONE. They say that to visit Rome and not see the Pope is to have seen nothing at all. Collectible Pope Leo figurine is one of first projects. Of course, it took us some time to do 3D design. But we are proud to say it’s one of our top Vatican Design product designed at our studio in extraterritoriale Vatican zone. Therefore, the project of this little Pope Leo scultpure was made in Vatican!

The Pope, the exhortation, and Papa Americano

Because this figurine was created shortly after the conclave, when an American cardinal was elected to the See of Peter, our first associations came naturally. What did we know about the new Pope? That he was a true Papa Americano—born in Chicago, but with his heart deeply connected to South America, especially Peru. That he loves pizza and, even though he now lives in Rome, the very epicenter of Italian cuisine, he still misses his favorite pizzeria back in Chicago. And finally, that he is remarkably open and approachable, while certainly capable of guiding his pontificate with a strong hand.

Exhortation Dilexi Te, nard and the pope!

When his first apostolic exhortation was published, we immediately began reading it. And imagine our surprise when, right in the very first paragraph, we came across a reference to nard oil!

Nard happens to be one of the signature products in our BIBLE SPA collection of biblical cosmetics. Could the fragrance of nard have somehow reached Pope Leo himself? Who knows! After all, the distance in a straight line from our Vatican Design shop to the residence where the Pope was living at the time is less than 300 meters!

What can you do with a figurine like this?

First of all—admire it! Place it on your desk or shelf and let it remind you to pray for Pope Leo as often as possible. After all, the Pope carries on his shoulders the concerns of the entire Church—and, in many ways, of the whole world.

Collectors also love creating their own miniature DIY accessories and scenes for their figures. Naturally, we have already suggested this on the packaging. Our Pope Leo could certainly use a tiny cup of coffee and a little book!

Pope Leo XIV reaction to our figurines

We brought our little Pope Leo figurine all the way to the Vatican and presented it to Pope Leo himself! His first reaction was a wonderfully surprised look — but we could tell he liked it. And we’re pretty sure that little Robert Prevost would have had a lot of fun playing with one of these, too.
